Appliance Insurance?

We've heard that there is a form of insurance cover for major items such as air-con, pool pumps & the like. You pay a monthly premium of around $70 & you're covered for any failure with nothing else to pay.

It seems too good to be true but if there is any truth in it has anyone had any dealings with this...

We use American Home Shield but each time there is a $60 call out charge

We pay $680 for the year

We are also with AHS and our monthly payments are around $60.00, we dont have a spa if you have a spa it may be a slightly higher premium.
