BAFV / SD terms and conditions

 

Your villa is advertised completely free of charge on our websites, we only ask that you access and post in our forum once a month, and a referall fee is payable when you obtain a booking through our websites. The current referall fee is £21 sterling per week booked (or part thereof)

 

The “DO’s
• Owners MUST quote their BAFV villa ref number in the main body text (not just the subject line) of ALL replies to enquiries whether general enquiries or direct enquiries. It is preferable for you to quote a link to your advert on our sites in your reply. * EG http://www.bookafloridavilla.com/villa.php?villa=ot006 or http://www.southerndunesusa.com/villa.php?villa=sd002

• If you get a direct enquiry that you can not do, then it must be entered into the referrals section of BAFV/SD immediately

• All members must post in the advertisers area if they convert a booking from the site.

• All members must update their point’s value regularly. Each month the three villas with the most points will feature on the front page of BAFV/SD

• You are now able to amend everything within your BAFV/SD advert yourselves. Please keep these up to date.

• We require all advertisers to access and post in our forum at least once per month for the advert to remain live on the site. If for any reason you can not do this i.e. travelling, then please let one of the Admin Team know in advance

• If for any reason you cannot display photos of your actual villa (e.g. if it is not yet built), you must obtain the permission of the copyright owner of any photos you use and clearly state in your advert text that the villa photos are not of your villa but of one of a similar standard (or similar wording).

• Please respond to direct enquiries within 24 hours, any direct enquiry not actioned by the end of 24 hours will be moved to the general enquiry section.

The “DO NOTS”
• Owners MUST NOT direct enquirers to any web site that advertises any other houses (other than houses that are advertised on BAFV/SD). That includes sites that link to other villa rental sites or that offer other villas that may be provided by the owners MC for example. If you do not have a website that meets these requirements then we suggest you direct guests to your villa page on BAFV.

• Enquiries, direct or general must NOT be given out to other owners.

• Send any enquiries you receive through BAFV/SD to other home owners who do not advertise with BAFV / SD. If this is happening, your advert on BAFV / SD will be removed.

• BAFV/SD does not participate or tolerate the sending on Unsolicited Commercial Email (SPAM). We reserve the right to cancel the Membership of any member we suspect of using BAFV/SD to spam villa owners on the site. The decision on what constitutes a breach of this lies solely with the Admin Team.

• The content of the adverts must be suitable for viewing by a family, including children. The use of any vulgar, racial or any other words likely to give offence to a group of people is expressly forbidden. We reserve the right to edit the content of your advert at our final discretion.

• We do not advertise the villas of any owners who run competing commercial villa sites to us unless by prior agreement between the parties. In this case the owners are specifically excluded from passing on any enquiries they get from us to their commercial sites or to any other owners whatsoever. Failure to disclose this to us in advance will result in the immediate removal of your villa(s) from our sites without any notice.

• We do not allow the mention of specific prices or anything that may give your villa a potential unfair advantage over other villas in your villa Headline. We do not want to become a site that is synonymous with low prices and this kind of thing only serves to imply we are. We will edit any such mentions without further notice..

• We do not allow links to any other websites containing links which lead to other vacation rentals. Websites containing these links will be removed and the member informed of why. They will be reinstated once the links have been removed.



CHARGES


• If assistance is needed to amend adverts, then a charge will be incurred - current prices are £10 per hour


• ADVICE ONLY – No charge.



PLEASE NOTE


• ANYTHING that constitutes a breach of BAFV / SD conditions and rules lies solely with BAFV/SD Website owner and administation.

• If a warning is issued for whatever reason this needs to be acted on within 48 hours of receipt.

• A suspension will last for two weeks or until rectified if within this time. After the two week period, unless there are specific circumstances that the Admin Team is made aware of, then your advert will be permanently removed.
